This spell temporarily grants a non-magical javelin a +2 magical bonus, which deals an additional 1d6 fire damage on a successful hit. Undead take double damage from this weapon.Creatures that are adversely affected by sunlight suffer any related penalties for 1 round when stuck, unless they succeed on a Will save (Save vs. Spell in 2nd Ed). This includes affects such as being destroyed by sunlight (such as Vampires).
The weapon can be thrown up to 180' with no penalty for distance, and it automatically returns to the owner's hand after being thrown.
The material components are the priest's holy symbol, and a non-magical javelin, which is consumed at the end of the spell.
