Note that only major features of the castle are listed here.
1. North Tower
This is a service tower, mostly to allow quick travel between floors of the keep and can be used for storage or as an extra room, as needed.
The 1'-wide windows spaced around the outer wall of the tower double as arrow slits for defenders to use bows and crossbows in times of siege.
2. East Tower
This is the largest of the four keep towers, and serves many functions as needed.
This floor of the tower is the upper level of a large open room, which can be used as a bedroom, lab, or any other purpose needed.
The large staircase along the wall leads to the first level of the room. A spiral staircase leads to the roof of the tower,
and a set of secret doors in the wall allows quiet access to the keep's roof area.
3. Roof/Walkway
This is the flat area of the keep's roof, which permits the castle defenders to move freely about.
This part of the roof has a very slight (less than 1 degree) downwards slope towards the outer walls, to allow for rainwater drainage.
At various places around the castle are 30-degree sloped roofs, which are part of the vaulted ceilings of the keep's main rooms.
4. Courtyard Overlook
This is an open area overlooking the inner courtyard, as seen in the map of the ground floor.
5. West Tower
This is a service tower, mostly to allow quick travel between floors of the keep and can be used for storage or as an extra room, as needed.
The 1'-wide windows spaced around the outer wall of the tower double as arrow slits for defenders to use bows and crossbows in times of siege.
This particular tower is also part of the outer wall that surrounds the keep's grounds.
6. South Tower
