Telaron's Circlet

Also known as the "Circlet of Clarity", the first of these circlets were created by the wizard Telaron as gifts for his most talented students. The circlet is made of polished silver, with several runes and magic symbols expertly etched into the metal. The circlet is then adorned with a single amethyst gemstone in the front. When worn, it allows the wearer to focus his/her thoughts more clearly, improving the wearer's chances of successfully casting a spell, and providing a measure of protection from spells and enchantments against the mind.

One of the most interesting features of the circlet, is its ability to mold its enchantments to fit the spellcasting style of its wearer. For example, when a Cleric wears it, it grants a bonus to their Wisdom, while a Wizard who wears it receives a boost to their Intelligence. However, it only functions if the wearer has the ability to cast spells.
